Richard Surman is a British writer and photographer who divides his time between London and Asturias, in northern Spain. He has worked for a wide range of advertising, editorial and corporate clients throughout the world, and now concentrates on his own books, and on assignments for magazines that combine text and photography. Richard Surman has published a number of books with HarperCollins and Collins Reference, and has also collaborated on a wide range of gardening, travel and specialist guide books as well as contributing to magazines in the UK, Spain, Sweden and the USA.
